Build the Ice Arena Our Region Needs

Families across Portage, Summit, Geauga, and Stark counties drive 25–55 minutes just to reach ice time — and nearby rinks are already at capacity. Streetsboro Ice Arena is a community-focused project designed to reduce travel burden, improve youth access, and create a year-round home for skating, hockey, and community events.

Ice Arena Design Expertise

M2K Architecture

Ice arenas are among the most complex recreational facilities to design and operate. Early input from an ice-arena–experienced architecture team helps strengthen cost accuracy, reduce downstream risk, and support long-term operational sustainability.

  • Ice-specific building layout and circulation planning
  • Mechanical and refrigeration system considerations
  • Energy-efficiency planning and operating cost awareness
  • Program flexibility for youth, adult, and tournament use
  • Scalability and future expansion planning

M2K’s early involvement strengthens feasibility assumptions and provides additional confidence to donors, sponsors, and public partners evaluating the project.
